Grievance Redressal

This page describes how to raise a complaint about CashYou — a favour, another user, content on the platform, a payment or refund, or how your personal data is handled — and what happens after you do. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

- In-app: Profile → Help & Support → Contact Support, marked as a grievance; or the Report button on any favour, user, or message.
2. Timelines
- We acknowledge every grievance within 24 hours of receipt.
- We aim to resolve every grievance within 15 days of receipt.
- Requests to remove content that violates the law or our rules are acted on promptly after review.
- Payment and refund complaints follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy; refund credit timing also depends on your bank and Razorpay.
3. What to include
Please include your account email, the favour or user concerned, what happened, and any screenshots or evidence. The more specific you are, the faster we can resolve it.
4. Data-protection grievances
Complaints about personal data (access, correction, erasure, consent withdrawal, nominations) are handled under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — see our Privacy Policy. If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
5. Consumer escalation
If you are not satisfied with our resolution of a consumer complaint, you may contact the National Consumer Helpline (1915 / consumerhelpline.gov.in) or file a complaint with the consumer commission through e-Daakhil.
